100 United Nations Project Manhattan, NY

scanning before core drillingWhen Adesta Broad Band needed to place a new Verizon tower at 100 United Nations Plaza in Manhattan, NY they contacted Ground Penetrating Radar of New York. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, GPRS,  were called upon to scan 52 floors to clear the area they needed to core drill from any conduits located in the floor.  Once on site, we could accurately mark out conduit going throughout the slab to ensure that Adesta could core their holes without worry of striking conduit.

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, GPRS, provides GPR services throughout the state of New York and New Jersey including the New York City Area.

Bryan Vickers directs the operations in the New York and New Jersey area, and can be reached at 646-765-5599 or bryan.vickers@gprsinc.com  . Ground Penetrating Radar is ideal for locating of rebar & post-tension cables prior to saw cutting and/or core drilling, mapping of electrical conduits, detection of near-surface voids and utilities, and detection of underground storage tanks.
