Concrete Scan Prior to Drilling Holes - St Louis, MO
In August of 2014, a university in the St. Louis area was under construction. More specifically, Several holes needed to be drilled through a 2nd floor post-tension slab. The local contractor called GPRS St. Louis to scan all locations with the 1600MHz concrete scanning antenna. Within two hours of arrival all obstructions in the core drill locations were marked clearly on the surface. No other contractors needed to stop work and this job finished ahead of schedule. Concrete Scanning at Mall - St. Louis, Missouri
In August of 2014, a contractor from out of town installed a new specialty store at a local St. Louis shopping mall. After the demolition stage, they needed to core drill and desired to avoid hitting any reinforcement or conduit. The mall manager had them call GPRS St. Louis to scan the slab prior to any penetration. Within an hour, GPRS had scanned the area with the 1600MHz concrete scanning antenna and marked out all of the obstructions.
