Concrete Scanning at The Kravis Center - West Palm Beach, Florida

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, West Palm Beach office recently scanned for rebar and conduits in a concrete slab. The Kravis Center in West Palm Beach was installing new speakers and needed to drill into the slab. The facilities department was concerned about damaging conduits while drilling.

Ground penetrating radar was used to inspect 2 different areas on each side of the main stage. GPR uses electromagnetic signals to penetrate the concrete. The signals are sent to the SIR-3000 computer system for interpretation. The results are delivered in real time allowing work to continue with no delays. The inspection is performed quickly and accurately with no health risks. GPRS also offers private utility locating along with detection of underground storage tanks.
