Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC, serving the entire state of Arizona and nationwide, was contacted by a major contractor to conduct an investigation of several key areas where concrete coring was to take place, in order to locate all post tension cable and rebar. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, was required to immediately respond within hours of the need, traveling to the job site in Phoenix, AZ.

This particular job was urgently needed, as all construction was halted until it could be proven that post tension (PT) cable, rebar, and any other reinforcement was located in order ensure nothing was damaged during the core drilling process. GPRS was able to provide this urgently needed investigation and confirm the presence of structural rebar without demolition in order to provide the best place to drill where no damage would occur to reinforcement. All data findings are marked directly on the surface at the customer’s request for the easiest interpretation of the scanning provided.
