Ground Penetrating Radar Systems’ St. Louis, MO office was able to work with a general contractor to scan for and locate conduits and rebar in concrete prior to core drilling. On September 8, 2014 GPRS scanned 44 locations and marked out all findings accurately on the concrete surface. GPRS uses non-destructive testing equipment to locate piping, reinforcement, and conduits that are unable to be seen. Using GPRS is a safe, cost effective way to make sure you can safely drill or cut and not destroy any conduits or reinforcement.

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems’ St. Louis/Cape Girardeau, MO office worked with a food and pharmaceutical plant in Cape Girardeau, MO on September 3, 2014 to map rebar on a 30’x30’ slab. The rebar locating was used by engineers to determine the structural integrity of the concrete slab. GPRS marked the location of rebar using the GPR 1600MHz antenna. The mapping of the rebar was successful and informational.
