Concrete Imaging Of Concrete Slab

GPRS, Inc of Arizona conducted an inspection on a concrete slab prior to core drilling to install a water line. The contractor was informed that the concrete slab contained post tension cables. To verify the presence of the cables, GPRS was mobilized to the site.

By using GPR technology, GPRS was able to scan the area and locate all anomalies in the slab. It was determined that no PT cables were in the slab. However, all reinforcing steel was located and marked on the surface which allowed the customer to drill without hitting any steel.
