Concrete Scanning For Mechanical Contractor

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was hired by a mechanical contractor of Chicago to scan numerous areas inside a downtown building that was being remodeled to become a little store. The area that was being remodeled was above a parking garage and the plumbers on site needed to core drill multiple holes for the new plumbing. This building had post tension cables and rebar in the floor, and the contractor on site was not able to drill into anyone of these items. With a 1600 MHz radar antenna GPRS was able to layout the exact locations of where the rebar and PT cables were running in the floor. Concrete Scanning For Mechanical Contractor - Chicago, Illinois
