Concrete Scanning - Aventura, Florida

GPRS’s Fort Lauderdale office was contacted to scan several areas of concrete prior to core drilling to install new Fiber Optic lines in an office building in Aventura, Florida. The contractor was concerned about damaging possible post tension cables as well as conduits in the concrete. GPRS was able to locate and mark the location of the cables and conduits which allowed the contractor to drill safely. GPR delivers no radiation making it an ideal method to use in office buildings or high traffic areas such as hospitals and universities.
