Floor Scanning Project At School - Imperial, PA

West Allegheny School District is performing a massive remodeling of Wilson Elementary in Imperial, PA. Part of the remodeling will be installing new sanitary lines for the school. New concrete support footers will also be installed. The first step in this remodeling process is to saw-cut the concrete floors. Knowing about the existence of imbedded conduit in the concrete, WASD called GPRS to scan the floors and locate the conduit. GPRS was able to do all the scanning in the evenings after the school day. Marking the findings with tape and on blueprints allowed the school to continue without interruption until just before the cutting is to be done.
