Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC. - GPRS - of Arizona was contacted by a national contractor to locate all high voltage conduit in the main floor of Arrowhead Town Center Mall in Glendale, AZ. The local contractor was responsible for installing all new Starbucks Coffee locations. There were many challenges with this project. Being in a large indoor retail shopping mall location, all work was required to take place after hours from 10:00pm to 5:00am. Moreover, this project had been delayed several times. With the project finally approved to begin, it consequently allowed for very little time for the contractor to initiate the project with existing deadlines. Locating all conduit within the concrete slab before any concrete floor cutting was urgently needed to prevent wiring damage and ensure safety of all workers. Timeliness of the project relied completely upon GPRS to respond immediately on site. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC. is very familiar with high volume and urgent projects. GPRS was called that afternoon and was able to arrive on site that same evening to scan the entire floor plan and complete the survey for electrical conduit that very night (red paint marks below). GPRS was able to work until 3:30am to provide real-time survey results, marked on site, for under slab conduit lines within the contractor's tight timeframe. *Note, GPRS survey results with marks completed in red paint. GPRS has completed many projects such as this in Phoenix, Tucson, Yuma, Flagstaff, Prescott, Kingman, and throughout the entire state of Arizona and performs GPR scans throughout the United States.
