GPRS Locates Rebar in Elevator Pit - Clearwater Beach, FL

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC. (GPRS) was contacted by a contractor in order to locate rebar or any utilities in a hotel elevator pit in Clearwater Beach, FL. The contractor needed to locate any rebar or utilities because they were drilling through the walls to pump in a material to stop the elevator shaft from flooding. The company contacted GPRS of Tampa in order not to hit any reinforcing steel or unknown utilities. Isaiah Runkle of GPRS was contacted in order to perform the survey at this location. Using our 1600MHz Mini antenna radar equipment, we were able to map out any rebar, as well as any other anomalies which were running through the areas of concern. The contractor was pleased with our results and felt relieved that they were able to work in the areas knowing where the rebar was located.

GPR Private Utility Locate for Water Lines - Winter Haven, FL

Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC. (GPRS) was contacted by a construction company in order to locate buried sprinkler heads in Winter Haven, FL. The company needed to find sprinkler heads that had been buried in the concrete when the slab was poured. This was a new water splash park area for the local kids to cool off. The company contacted GPRS of Tampa, Florida in order to know where the sprinkler heads were located in order to uncover them and maintain a timely park grand opening.
