Recently GPRS of Michigan was contacted by a new client who had to do some potential directional boring on Mackinac Island. The client contacted GPRS of Michigan and we mobilized to St. Ignace, MI and had to take a small airplane to access the island since the lake was still frozen and couldn’t be reached by ferry. GPRS was there to locate all potential utilities located under the street coming from the Grand Hotel. There is a small window to do construction on the island due to the island relying on tourism in the spring and summer months. So having this scanned now so the client can complete the work in time for the season was crucial for them.
