GPRS Scans For Conduits In Metal Decking

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was recently called by Eagle Electric to a project in Columbus, Ohio. Scope of work was to scan an elevated concrete slab with metal decking underneath locating and mapping out conduits before core drilling to put in new electric floor boxes. The area was marked identifying the high and lows parts of the metal decking recommending drilling on a high spot where there is a greater chance of locating a conduit. GPRS, LLC. was able to get to the job in a timely matter and mark out all the conduits on the surface with a depth. GPR is an accurate and effective way of locating conduits, rebar, and post tension cables in a concrete slab.
