GPR Concrete Piles And Columns - Lake Charles, LA

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) of the Houston office was called by Dunham Price Group, LLC and the DOT of Louisiana to locate the concrete depth of 11 columns/piers. GPRS quickly mobilized to the site using the 1600MHz Ground Penetrating Radar antenna, designed by GSSI, to locate and identify the reinforcement wire mesh and average depth of concrete to the hollow core. This innovative GPR technology has virtually no radiation allowing other workers to continue daily duties around us. Nate Loyola, technician on site, took 80 foot SIR3000 images and compresses them to get an accurate average depth of concrete to the hollow core center.

determine depth of concreteGPRS is the safe, accurate, and effective method for locating reinforcement and concrete depth. GPRS of the Houston office covers the Memorial, Midtown, Uptown, Energy Corridor and Westside.
