GPR Scanning - Skokie, Illinois

There was a local developer in the Chicago area that was looking to develop a piece of land in Skokie for new housing but needed to have the ground scanned first. They wanted to have this piece of land scanned prior to doing any excavation here so they knew all of what could possibly be buried in the ground here. The developer had recently excavated a piece of property right next to this one and found a bunch of old foundations and old building structures that had been buried there from the previous demolition of an old structure.

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Chicago was able to come to this 1 acre site and scan the entire thing to help mark out where all of the potential obstructions would be. By having GPRS come out and scan the land, they are now able to budget in the extra cost of having all this debris removed from the site in order to build these houses. This helps them to plan accordingly and keep this project on schedule for the completion.
