GPRS was hired by a local electrical company in Gurnee, IL. to locate conduits that are in the floor of the Gurnee Mill mall. There is a section of the mall that is under construction and the electricians on site need to install some new power in the slab. Before they could saw-cut the floor and dig they needed to have the floor scan for conduits and any other possible utilities in that location. By them hiring GPRS, we were able to locate a few electrical lines that were in the floor before they cut the concrete. This surely saved them a lot of money and extra time had they not scanned and then hit the conduits that were running through the floor. It is always good to have your locations scanned before saw-cutting or any excavating to save money and time on your project.
