Identifying Electrical Conduit in Corrugated Steel Pan Deck
- Austin, Texas

Making penetrations through corrugated steel pan deck can be challenging because of the fact the electrical conduit is so often hidden within the concrete above it. With the right tools and expertise, electrical conduit can be avoided. That’s why a local Austin contractor called GPRS of Central Texas before drilling. Regional manager Corey Brecht was able to identify an electrical conduit running through the center of the area where the contractor intended to drill. With this new information the contractor was able to adjust his drilling location and safely make his penetration.
