Locating Conduits - Summit, New Jersey Prisco Construction was part of a remodel project at the Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. The changes required trenching through multiple areas of a future teacher’s lounge and the Medical Center required that all demolition to the concrete slabs was scanned in advance for conduits or other important piping. This is a major concern for hospitals as a cut conduit could potentially be disastrous to the hospital’s patients. To ensure the safety of the patients, Prisco contacted Jim James of GPRS’s Manhattan office. Jim arrived on site to find that Prisco had laid out all proposed saw-cut areas with spray paint. He then proceeded to provide concrete imaging for all saw-cut areas and marked all located conduits directly on the concrete surface.
