Locating Post Tension Cables For Contractor

GPRS Tucson office was contacted to scan a large bathroom to locate PT cables prior to saw cutting to install new drains. The contractor needed to know exact locations of the cables before the saw cutter cut into the slab.

GPRS of Tucson scanned and located the post tension cables and reinforcing steel in an area approximately 10’x14’. GPR is a safe method to locate anomalies in concrete. GPRS marked the location of the cables on the surface along with depths and communicated the findings to the contractor.
