Locating Private Utilities At VA Hospital
- Gainesville, Florida

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems in Jacksonville Florida was contacted to locate utilities at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL. The VA is currently undergoing a project to run a new water line for the hospital through approximately 1100 linear feet of the property. Prior to digging the contractor wanted to locate all utilities on site. GPRS cleared the proposed trench line locating water lines, gas lines, oxygen lines, sanitary lines, storm lines, fiber optic lines and electrical lines/conduits. When each item was located a depth was provided, that way the contractor could plan a trench depth ahead of time. Following the utility locate, the client was able to trench the pathway safely while damaging zero live utilities.
