Locating Underground Storage Tanks For Environmental Company - Richmond, Virginia

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Virginia Beach was recently called by an environmental geotechnical company to locate and old waste oil tank at the Goodyear Service Building in Richmond, Virginia. This project was to scan the area in front of the bay doors where the cars pull in and out of the service building to locate any existing waste oil tank so the environmental company can do soil borings and drill around the tank for contamination. After performing the scanning, GPR was able to determine an area where the tank used to be but had previously been removed from the site. We were also able to map out the waste oil separator line so they can do soil testing around that as well. GPRS, LLC. was able to respond to the project quickly to make sure the project stayed on schedule.
