Locating Rebar and Conduits For Contractor

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was recently called by a local mechanical company to locate rebar and conduits in an elevated concrete slab at the VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Scope of work was to mark on the surface any rebar or conduits in several locations before core drilling. GPRS, LLC. scan for rebar and conduits in each location and provide a safe area to core drill so nothing was struck in the process. The project involved scanning in between two walls with limited room, but with our sleek concrete scanning equipment we were able to successfully complete the project. The project was an overall success and no conduits were hit in the core drilling process keeping everyone safe and the project on time. GPRS, LLC. is an effective and efficient way to map our rebar, conduits, and post tension cables in a concrete slab before saw cutting or core drilling.
