PT Locating In Scottsdale, Arizona

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems Scottsdale recently completed a project in a commercial office building. The electrical contractor needed to core drill for new electrical conduits. The contractor was informed that post tension cables could be damaged if not located before drilling. GPRS was able to scan and locate the cables.

GPRS Scottsdale scanned each location and marked the location of both post tension cables and rebar. The approximate depth of the reactions was indicated on the surface also. GPR technology is a safe and effective method to locate reinforcing steel and PT cables in concrete. GPR poses no health hazards and does not emit harmful radiation.
