Post Tensioned Parking Garage Concrete Scan – Minneapolis, MN

This scan was performed on the first floor ceiling of a parking garage at the MSP International Airport. The client was contracted to install signs throughout the area to better direct traffic flow. Prior to installing concrete anchors, the post-tensioned cables needed to be identified. David Hagenmayer, with Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC, was called out scan the proposed sign locations. David mapped out the steel reinforcement to within ¼ inch accuracy. The client was then able to safely drill holes for the anchors to set in. The project was completed on time and under budget.
