Pre-Soil-Boring Utility Location Environmental Resource Management of St. Louis called Samuel Heisman of Ground Penetrating Radar Systems to locate utilities prior to soil-boring. ERM Project Managers needed to avoid hitting utility lines. But, they also needed to drill near the lines to test for leakage. Samuel traced out over five lines at the site (former Chrysler plant in Fenton, MO). As a result, new boring locations were arranged and others were affirmed, and ERM successfully obtained their soil samples. |
