Utility Locate for Energy Company in Dodge Center, Minnesota

GPRS was contacted by an energy company to locate private utilities near a natural gas fueling station at a facility in Dodge Center, MN. The contractor wanted to auger and trench near existing utilities and needed to know the depths and locations of buried utility lines in place. Troy Bartlett, Project Manager with GPRS was called upon to locate and determine the depths of the utilities that were in the construction zone. Troy used both Radio Detection and Ground Penetrating Radar to clearly mark utilities in conflict so that construction crews could avoid them and work around them in a safe manner.
