Private Underground Utility Locate - Midland, TX

This scan was performed in the parking lot of an active factory in Midland, TX. The client was putting in new sewer lines and needed to know where the existing utilities ran throughout the area prior to trenching for the new lines. David Hagenmayer, with Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC, was called out to identify the existing utilities. David marked the locations of the utilities, recorded the findings with a handheld GPS unit, overlaid the coordinates onto a Google Earth image, and provided the client with a detailed map of the property. The client was then able to safely lay the new sewer lines without hitting any obstructions. Also, the client now had permanent records of the utilities on site for future use.
