Radar Imaging On Roof To Locate Rebar In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Prior to the installation of new AC units, an HVAC contractor contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC. to locate the rebar within the roof slab to preserve the structures integrity. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma mobilized to the site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to scan the area before the drilling process took place. Since Ground Penetrating Radar shows the data in real time, the results were marked directly onto the surface. Unlike x-ray/gamma ray, Ground Penetrating Radar is time efficient, non-hazardous and able to show real time results. The energy emitted is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, therefore, the production of the construction site can continue without any radiation hazards.
