 
Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was requested on site by a general contractor to perform a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scan. The purpose was to locate all rebar and columns to clear locations for core drilling locations through the concrete floor. All findings were marked out in the areas of concern and the general contractor was able to safely core drill and avoid all rebar and columns. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems is the best way to ensure the locations of reinforcement and conduits prior to saw cutting/drilling through concrete. The pictures below show rebar and columns taped out on the surface.
