Scanning for Existing Utilities - Providence, RI

Scanning for Existing Utilities - Providence, RI A local contractor was hired by the state of RI to complete improvement projects surrounding some historical cottages in Providence, RI. Much of the work called for extensive excavation on the properties. GPRS was called to locate the existing utilities and create a Google Earth overlay to use as the excavation commenced. With our expertise all of the existing utilities were able to be detected and mapped out on the ground with corresponding depths. Then using satellite imagery and GPS coordinates the Google Earth overlay was created and used during the next phases of the project. All existing utilities were maintained and excavation was safely executed.
