Scanning Concrete Walls At Arizona State University GPRS of Phoenix was contacted to scan concrete walls on the campus of Arizona State University. Kearney Electric was running new electrical conduit and needed to penetrate the concrete wall in several locations. GPRS of Phoenix scanned the wall using concrete imaging technology called Ground Penetrating Radar. GPR send electromagnetic pulses into the concrete allowing the operator to see rebar and conduits that may be within the core locations. The photo above shows the reinforcing steel marked in black marker. The process is completed in real time and allows the customer to drill right away keeping the project on time. Please contact Brad Goforth, Regional Manager at 480-227-8614. You can also email him at brad.goforth@gp-radar.com .
