Storage Tank Investigation

An environmental consulting firm was looking to identify any underground storage tanks (UST’s) before their client acquired property. The consulting firm provides environmental assessment and investigative consulting to protect a buyer, and their bank from environmental damages from a contaminated property, commonly referred to as “Due Diligence”. The firm hired GPRS who specializes in locating underground utilities as well as underground storage tanks. This site was in Manchester, PA which is an area covered by Sam Hart of Ground Penetrating Radar Systems. Sam came out and scanned the 1 acre site for any underground utilities as well as underground storage tanks. He was able to verify there were no UST’s on this site and located the utilities on site as well. He also provided a report with his findings to the client.
