Structure Scanning - Vinita, Oklahoma

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems provides GPR services for a variety of projects. On this project, a general contractor needed to determine the spacing of the reinforcing steel within the wall in Vinita, Oklahoma. Wade Vickers-GPRS Oklahoma performed the structure scanning and marked out the steel within the wall. The steel was marked directly onto the surface using orange marking paint which made the location of the steel easily identifiable. The structural knowledge was then communicated to the customer so our findings were understood. Unlike x-ray/gamma ray, Ground Penetrating Radar is time efficient, non-hazardous and able to show real time results. The energy emitted is equivalent to 1% of a cell phone, therefore, the production of the construction site can continue without any radiation hazards.
