UST’s and Underground Utilities Located at Gas Station - Broken Arrow, OK

Prior to installing a new soild remediation system at an older gas station, a an environmental contractor contacted GPRS to scan for underground storage tanks. The contractor needed to know the exact location of three known underground storage tanks and all of the other underground utilities in the project area. According to records, there should have been three underground storage tanks at the site, and after the radar scan, we were able to confirm the location of the three tanks. In addition to the storage tanks, there were also numerous underground utilities at the site including electrical, gas, water and other unknown utilities. During the scan, we were also able to confirm the location of a cathotic protection system that was surrounding the underground tanks.

Once then scan was finished, GPS coordinates of all the findings were recorded, and these were then documented onto a Google Earth map (which was then delivered to the client). In conjunction with the on site markings and Google Earth map, the client was able to find clear areas to install the new remediation system without hitting any utilities or underground storage tanks.
