Underground Utility Lines And USTs Located At Marina In Urbanna, Virginia

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was recently called by a local environmental company to a project at a Marina in Urbanna, Virginia. The scope of work was to scan at ½ acre stone lot locating underground utility lines and a possible underground storage tank before soil boring to test the soil. There are two existing underground storage tanks still on the property with the concern that there still might be another that has not been removed. They also wanted to make sure all underground utilities were marked so they were not struck while drilling. GPRS, LLC. was able to get to the project in a timely matter and scan the lot looking for the possible storage tank and mapping out all the utility lines on the property. GPR is an effective and accurate way of locating underground utility lines, voids, and USTs.
