Utility Locate Inside Building Prior To Boring - Logan, Utah radio detection vs xray

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was contacted by a contractor to locate all utilities inside a building prior to boring. The environmentalist was concerned about boring inside of the building due to the high capacity of conduit and utility lines inside the job site. GPRS came on site and locate the utilities as well as the conduits.

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems used a 400 MHz antenna for this application and a Radio Detection (RD) device to detect electrical current deep in the soil. GPRS’ 400 MHz antenna was ideal because of its accurate deep penetration and the open clear area the technician had to work.
