Concrete Scanning Using GPR - Silverthorne, CO

GPRS of Colorado was commissioned to perform imaging of concrete in Silverthorne, Colorado by AMA Construction. The renovation of a building with vertical tee beams required the use of ground penetrating radar scanning technology prior to the coring for ventilation upgrades. The building, which was to become a Tuesday Morning retail store, was able to continue in its operation due to the fact that all GSSI GPR antennas do not emit radiation. This was essential to keep workers on schedule. This is one of the many reasons GPRS is “The New Way to X-Ray”.

The reinforcement was located in the 12 or so areas in an accurate and timely manner. Data is marked on the surface so there is no question where impediments may lie after the technician leaves the site.

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Denver is able to scan vertical locations such as walls, vertical tees, columns, beams and CMU walls. The technology is also able to locate rebar, post tensioning and mesh in concrete slabs. An often unknown application for concrete imaging is the location of conduits in and under a slab on grade floor.

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC. of Denver is able to provide GPR services in any portion of Colorado including: Denver, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Boulder, Fort Collins, Aurora and Greeley. Our service area includes areas such as Omaha, NE and Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas.
