Concrete Scan for Doan Pyramid Electric

concrete floor scanning costWhen Doan Pyramid Electric needed to core holes through a concrete floor, they first called Ground Penetrating Radar Systems.  Their holes were to be made through a concrete floor poured over metal decking and were near a load-bearing wall.  Ground penetrating radar was used to accurately locate the structurally important dowel rebar that were tying the wall to the floor.  The rebar locations were marked out along the wall quickly and precisely.  Our experience in this type of scanning allowed us to differentiate between these rebar and the wire mesh reinforcing.
