In June, Fixtur World called Ground Penetrating Radar Systems to locate Post Tensioned cables at the campus of UNC Chapel Hill in North Carolina. Fixtur World had used GPRS in the past, so they were certain GPRS would deliver the necessary results.

Jeff Dehart of GPRS used Ground Penetrating Radar to image the concrete and locate the PT cables and other reinforcing so Fixtur World could core drill through the concrete without damaging the building.

Ground Penetrating Radar is similar to concrete x-ray; however it uses no radiation and can be performed without evacuating the area.

Jeff Dehart runs GPRS operations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.
In the triangle area he can be reached at (919) 671-9475 or by email at jeff.dehart@gprsinc.com. Call us to discuss your next project!
