GPRS is able to locate radiant heat tubing in concrete. Before drilling or cutting into concrete containing radiant heat, ground penetrating radar can be used to locate the tubing and mark their locations onto the slab. GPR can locate radiant heat pipes and even plastic tubing and can determine their depth within the slab. Having the concrete scanned can prevent damage to radiant heat and the need for costly repairs.
