GPRS of Miami - Rebar and Post Tension Cable Locating

GPRS of Miami recently completed a project with Dade Electrical at the University of Miami.  GPRS was called out to identify all rebar and post tension cables prior to core drilling at the Law Library. 

On site GPRS was able to identify all of the post tensioning cables and rebar quickly and accurately.  They marked all of them on the surface with depth indications to the top of the rebar or cable.  GPRS then collaborated with Dade Electrical as to the best places to core drill.  The project was a success and radar once again proved its usefulness on concrete for locating rebar and post tension cables.
